Can you fit & maintain sterilisation systems?
Carter Pumps are able to supply a wide range of UV sterilisation equipment from leading manufacturers. We recommend these for use on private water supplies to neutralise viruses and organisms that may be present, thus ensuring the water is safe to drink. Sizes range from a domestic under sink type unit to large systems serving larger flow systems used in manufacturing and food processing.
Do you work to industry standards?
In many areas Carter Pumps exceed the current industry standards. We are industry accredited and our engineers are Confined Space trained and Management Health & Safety trained.
Carter Pumps is accredited by Safe Contractor, Constructionline and NICEIC (the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry) and a member of the Pump Distributors Association.
Do you undertake work for industrial & agricultural customers?
Yes, we have many such clients. They call on us for industrial boiler feed pumps, fuel oil transfer sets, water treatment and dosing sets. To our agricultural clients we offer irrigation, sludge and slurry pumping solutions, molasses pump sets, and fuel oil transfer. We have available to both, fluid storage tanks, pressure booster sets and telemetry systems.
Can you supply building services?
Yes, we work a lot as their preferred contractor, supplying, installing and maintaining heating, chilled water & secondary hot water circulation. Also, boiler shunt pumps, pressure booster sets, pressurisation units, rainwater harvesting equipment, expansion tanks and telemetry systems
Is it worth repairing a pump?
Yes, where it makes good economic sense to carry out repairs rather than replace, and it reduces environmental impact, we will repair.
Do you remove spoil and waste?
Yes, if required, all can be removed from site.
Do you offer ground works & contracting?
Yes, Carter Pumps offers a complete range of services which complement our core mechanical and electrical capability.
- Tank & sewage treatment installation, excavation, and associated works for the installation of pumping stations, storm water attenuation systems and underground storage tanks
- We can also create drainage fields and pipe work installations
- We are able to make direct and indirect connection to mains sewers, including liaison with the environment agency, Local Authorities and County Highways.
